Innovator in Residence arrives at ASL
This fall, the School embraces a new initiative to support innovative teaching and learning across all areas of the curriculum—made possible by the generosity and vision of an anonymous donor. This permanent endowment enables students to have direct access to innovative leaders in a diverse range of fields whose work will complement and enhance the ASL approach to interdisciplinary studies.
Our first Innovator in Residence is Kwame Alexander, one of America’s most inventive writers of children’s and young adult fiction and poetry. He is a passionate educator and the New York Times bestselling author of 32 books. Kwame is making a huge impact on our students, teachers and parents alike!
