In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ASL's Board of Trustees established a Community Support Fund to endeavor to keep our community together. The pandemic could not suppress the extraordinary generosity of the ASL community, and we are grateful to the donors to the fund for their loyalty and support. The fund provides tuition assistance to those families most severely impacted by the current economic crisis. 

To date, 30 grants have been awarded for the first semester of the 2020-21 school year. 

The gratitude of those who received awards has been heartwarming. Two families who were awarded grants wrote to share their thanks to the School:

“I’m not ashamed to say that I cried tears of relief and joy. Thank you so much. I will do everything in my power to repay the School in full, through charitable giving, whenever I can on the other side of this.”

 

“We are truly appreciative of ASL for supporting us during this time of crisis and this will be remembered once we are on a better financial footing.”
