Planned legacy giving
The Bruce House Society is a planned legacy giving program that recognizes those who have given a portion of their estate or have made arrangements to include a gift to the American School in London Educational Trust Limited in the UK or the American School in London Foundation in the US in their plans.
Established in 2006, the Bruce House Society is named for ASL benefactor David K.E. Bruce, US Ambassador to the Court of St. James’s, from 1961 to 1969, who was instrumental in helping ASL acquire and develop the St. John’s Wood campus.
The generosity of society members helps to maintain financial health to secure a tradition of academic excellence. These individuals play an essential role in ensuring the mission endures for future generations of students.
Create your will for free
To help you write your estate plan for free in 20 minutes or less, the American School in London Educational Trust Limited has partnered with Farewill in the UK and the American School in London Foundation has partnered with FreeWill in the US.
It is strongly encouraged that you consult with an attorney, financial planner or tax advisor to discuss what options may work best for you to make an impactful contribution.
If you are based in the US and are a US taxpayer, you may wish to use FreeWill to start your will online. If you prefer to finalize your will with an attorney, you can still use the tool to create a list of documented wishes.
If you are based in the UK and are a UK taxpayer, please use Farewill to start your free will online.
