Giving back ensures that ASL’s mission and core values continue to educate, inspire and engage each and every student. Fundraising via the ASL Foundation’s Annual Fund has provided the immediate resources that have enabled our students and faculty to thrive. 

The culture of philanthropy and engagement are valued tenets within the ASL community. From our financial health to our tradition of academic excellence, giving back helps the ASL Foundation make grants to transform an excellent education into a truly extraordinary one. 

Donations can be made in British pounds sterling (GBP) or US dollars (USD) in the form of cash, check, credit card, or appreciated securities. You are welcome to make your gift directly online.

Appeals for support are personalized and sent every fall, winter and spring. We ask our parents, alumni, trustees, faculty and staff, parents of alumni and grandparents to join in with their participation and to make a donation in an amount that is most meaningful to them. ASL strives for 100 percent participation from all members of the community.

Yes, the American School in London is a UK registered charity (no. 312738).

In addition, ASL is supported by the American School in London Foundation, and The American School in London Foundation (UK) Ltd. 

The ASL Foundation is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service as a not-for-profit organization (US tax ID 13-6258480). 

The ASL Foundation (UK) Ltd. is wholly-owned by the American School in London Foundation and is a charity registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales (registration no. 1086037). For US federal tax purposes, the Foundation (UK) is classified as a disregarded entity and therefore contributions to the Foundation (UK) are eligible for the US federal income tax charitable deduction (US tax ID 13-6258480).

Every year the Annual Fund is supported by a community of volunteers.
 
Hundreds of ASL parents, alumni, faculty, staff and parents of alumni choose to fundraise for the ASL Foundation’s Annual Fund because they believe in the School’s mission.
