5-week Annual Fund

This year, our Annual Fund campaign takes place over five weeks, beginning Monday, 3 November through to our Power of Orange Giving Day on Tuesday, 2 December! During this time, you will be receiving emails and appeals asking for your participation with a pledge or gift to the Annual Fund.

The goals of this concentrated effort are to:

• have all gifts or pledge commitments received before Winter Break, with payments paid in full by 31 May 2026. 
• enable the promotion of the Parents Community Association’s Global Festival in the second half of the school year.

We hope you will hear the call to action and say “yes” to donating to the Annual Fund and supporting our community of learners.

The Annual Fund is the primary means for all of us to help fund the core components of the academic program and ensure an incredible student experience. 

The Annual Fund

• ensures stellar core academic and extracurricular programs
   - amazing facilities for teaching and learning 
   - field trips, visiting authors and speakers
   - music tours, robotics competitions and athletics
• helps the Head of School hire and retain excellent faculty and staff
• supports the financial aid program
   

Donations can be made in British pounds sterling (GBP) or US dollars (USD) in the form of a check, credit card, or appreciated securities. Gifts via Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) or donor-advised funds are also accepted. 

Make your pledge or gift directly online. Pledge payments are due in full by 31 May 2026. 

Yes, the American School in London is a UK registered charity (no. 312738).

In addition, ASL is supported by the American School in London Foundation, and The American School in London Foundation (UK) Ltd. 

The ASL Foundation is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service as a not-for-profit organization (US tax ID 13-6258480). 

The ASL Foundation (UK) Ltd. is wholly-owned by the American School in London Foundation and is a charity registered with the Charity Commission for England & Wales (registration no. 1086037). For US federal tax purposes, the Foundation (UK) is classified as a disregarded entity and therefore contributions to the Foundation (UK) are eligible for the US federal income tax charitable deduction (US tax ID 13-6258480).
