Registration, policies & FAQs
- Places in programs are not guaranteed until fees are paid in full.
- Programs are payable in advance by credit or debit card. A refund for non-attendance for any reason is not available (see cancellation policy below).
- We rely on the input of accurate information regarding the age, grade level and enrollment status of participants. Registration does not guarantee enrollment in programs for which participants are unsuitable.
- For Sports Camp, children must select two different activities in which to specialize, and concentrate on them for the week. You must select (and pay for) two different activities when registering in the portal—please do not select the same activity twice.
- If cancellation of registration is made by 9am on the Monday three weeks prior to each week of enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
- If cancellation of registration is made by 9am on the Monday two weeks prior to each week of enrollment, a 50% refund will be issued.
- If cancellation is made after 9am on the Monday one week prior to each week of enrollment, no refund will be issued.
- If applicable, refunds will be issued to payment cards.
- All cancellations must be made by contacting email@example.com.
For most summer program offerings, the day runs 9am–3:15 pm, please check each activity for there specific timings.
Participants should meet at the Community Art Building entrance at ASL between 8:45 and 8:55 am. There is no supervision prior to 8:45 am.
All participants need to register with their activity supervisor every morning.
For Sports, and Elementary Activities participants the bus for Canons Park will leave promptly at 9am. Any late comers will need to make their own way to Canons Park.
All on-campus sessions end between 3:10 and 3:15pm, with participants available for collection from the Community Art Building gate on Waverley Place. The bus from Canons Park is scheduled to return by 3:10pm. Participants should check out with their activity supervisor before departure. Please be on time to collect your child.

Instruction in the Summer Program is in English. We welcome second language learners in English who possess basic conversational English skills. It is important that students can follow simple instructions in English to maintain program safety.
Each year, we have a number of participants who meet this level of proficiency and who thrive by being immersed in an English language environment.
Most participants must be at least age 6 by the start of the week(s) in which they participate. Discovery Camp is for incoming K1, K2 and Grade 1 students (age 4–6). Please note that we are unable to accommodate children age 3 and below in our Summer Programs, and participants in Discovery Camp should be able to use the bathroom without assistance. We reserve the right to cancel enrollments of children too young or too old to attend our programs.
Grade requirements apply to the grade level the child will be entering in the fall.

As our camp day involves a mid-morning snack break and a lunch break, parents are requested to provide a packed snack and lunch for their children. For activities taking place at Canons Park, there is a very basic snack bar selling fruit, health bars, juice, water and ice pops.
There are no catering facilities at the Waverley Place campus (Basketball, Discovery Camp and Exploration Week programs). Unless otherwise advised by their teacher, participants should bring a drink, snack and lunch each day.
One purpose of our Summer Program is to build a sense of community. With this in mind, we request that participants leave electronic equipment at home. This includes iPods, iPads and electronic games. Students seen using these devices during camp time will have their equipment confiscated for the day.
Money to purchase items from the snack bar at Canons Park should be brought in small quantities only.
Please dress appropriately for the activities. Shorts, track suits, sweaters and trainers are all suitable for sports-related activities. Layers of casual clothing are appropriate for all other sessions. Sunscreen and a hat are requirements for all attendees.

If you are an ASL family or have filled the health form earlier during registration, there is no need to do one again. If there is an update in the medical information you want to provide, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the update.
