Participants are enrolled for week-long programs only. No discounted pricing or refunds are available for participants who attend for less than one week.

Instruction in the Summer Program is in English. We welcome second language learners in English who possess basic conversational English skills. It is important that students can follow simple instructions in English to maintain program safety.

Each year, we have a number of participants who meet this level of proficiency and who thrive by being immersed in an English language environment.

Each program has a specific age requirement so please only book for activities that are suitable for your child's age. Please note that we are unable to accommodate children age 3 and below in our Summer Programs, and participants in Discovery Camp should be able to use the bathroom without assistance.  We reserve the right to cancel enrollments of children too young or too old to attend our programs. 

Grade selected when you register apply to the grade level the child will be entering in the fall, so the age they would be on September 1, 2025.

As our camp day involves a mid-morning snack break and a lunch break, parents are requested to provide a packed snack and lunch for their children.

There are no catering facilities at the Waverley Place campus (Basketball, Discovery Camp and Exploration Week programs). Unless otherwise advised by their teacher, participants should bring a drink, snack and lunch each day.

One purpose of our Summer Program is to build a sense of community. With this in mind, we request that participants leave electronic equipment at home. This includes iPods, iPads and electronic games. Students seen using these devices during camp time will have their equipment confiscated for the day.

Please dress appropriately for the activities. Shorts, track suits, sweaters and trainers are all suitable for sports-related activities. Layers of casual clothing are appropriate for all other sessions. Sunscreen and a hat are requirements for all attendees.

One objective of the camp is for students to have fun while learning new activities. Regular school expectations about language and behavior apply. If you are an ASL family or have filled the health form earlier during registration, there is no need to do one again. If there is an update in the medical information you want to provide, please email summer@asl.org with the update.

Our system can only display offerings by grade level, and sometimes this blocks an offering for a child who is old enough to join if the grade level has been put in, incorrectly. If this occurs, please email summer@asl.org for assistance. 

For most summer program offerings, the day runs 9am–3:15 pm, please check each activity for there specific timings.

Participants should meet at the Community Art Building entrance at ASL between 8:45 and 8:55 am. There is no supervision prior to 8:45 am.

All participants need to register with their activity supervisor every morning.

For Sports, and Elementary Activities participants the bus for Canons Park will leave promptly at 9am. Any late comers will need to make their own way to Canons Park.

All on-campus sessions end between 3:10 and 3:15pm, with participants available for collection from the Community Art Building gate on Waverley Place. The bus from Canons Park is scheduled to return by 3:10pm. Participants should check out with their activity supervisor before departure. Please be on time to collect your child.

For our swimming lessons, these are a 30 minute session at the specific time you have booked.

Drop off and collection takes place at our school campus for all camps (except Crew Camp). If the camp they are then booked in for takes place off site, we will arrange the transport for this.

Our school campus address is One Waverley Place, St Johns Wood, London, NW8 0NP. We are loacted a few minutes walk from St Johns Wood tube station.

We will send out a welcome email 2 weeks prior to you camp starting with us. Within this email will be specific information that we require you to read throughly prior to you attending with us.

We are more than happy to make adjustments to your bookings if there is space to do so. You can monitor availability without logging in here.

If you see a space come up, please email us your child's name, the week and activity you have booked, and the week and activity you wish to swap it to. This will be actioned during office ours subject to space still being available.

Unfortunately, we do not hold a waiting list for our activities. If you book into another camp but if you see a space come up, please email us, and we will get this swapped, subject to there still being space.
