SHINE at ASL
Shine at ASL is an enrichment program that takes place at The American School in London on Saturday mornings. Typically it runs for 16-18 weeks offering a variety of creative workshops that include sessions such as art, drama, photography and robotics. Students explore activities, learn about themselves and then create and present a final project.
The project phase takes place over the last 6 weeks. Students work either independently or in groups with support from Project Mentors. Students present or exhibit their project work at the final session to their families and members of their school community.
SHINE welcomes students between the ages of 12 and 15 (year 8 and year 9). ASL partners with local secondary schools within Westminster & Brent, and we are always open to adding new partner schools! Express interest in becoming a SHINE at ASL partner school here!
Our current partner schools include UCL Academy, Westminster Academy, Newman College, Pimlico Academy, Hammersmith Academy, St. Marylebone School, & Crest Academy. We thank them greatly for their ongoing commitment to Shine at ASL!
