Happy Chinese New Year!

Middle school students marked Chinese New Year by hosting an assembly for their peers to celebrate the year of the Rooster. They put on a variety of performances, including drumming, singing, skits and story-telling, and many students wore red in honor of the traditional Chinese belief that the color brings good luck for the year ahead.

“This annual event has become tradition for the MS Chinese program,” explained World Languages and Cultures Teacher Chris Chen. “We're so proud to be able to share this significant cultural festival with students, faculty and staff!”
新年快乐
