Lower School after-school activities

IPoP, the after-school program for lower school students, is open to all ASL students enrolled in K2-Grade 4. K1 students are invited in the spring term. The program provides an opportunity for children to engage in educational activities in an atmosphere where social, rather than academic, development is stressed.

IPoP sessions vary by season, but may include the following activities:

  • Sports (golf, tennis, hockey, soccer, aquatics, taekwondo, fencing, gymnastics)
  • Studio arts (ceramics, crafts, design, photography)
  • Technology (robotics, keyboarding, coding, Minecraft)
  • Performing arts (dance, guitar, stage performance)
Schedule
  • On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Grade 1–4 classes meet 3–4 pm and 4–5 pm.
  • On Wednesdays, when ASL has early release, Grade 1–4 classes meet 2–3 pm and 3–4 pm.
  • K2 classes meet only during the first hour block each day
  • There are no IPoP sessions on Fridays
