Recap: Alumni Quiz Night

What can we say about our favorite alumni tradition held in the Mellon Library on Wednesday, 1 May? That Eagles represented nearly five decades, from the Class of 1977 to 2020. That our guest of honor, Madame Ghislaine Rose (ASL 1991-2024), who retires this year after 33 years at ASL, was surprised by her son, Jack ’16, who made a moving toast in her honor. That Head of School Matt Horvat joined a team, Above Standard, and they competed admirably (but were no match for the championship team, Triple Eagles!). That the evening was full of (friendly) rivalry, friendship and fondness for our dear alma mater. We give special thanks to quizmasters John Wilson (ASL 1971-2009) and Hannah Notowitz (ASL 2020-present), for preparing and presenting such a memorable quiz!
