What’s your connection to ASL?

I’m a student at ASL and have been for five years. My dad also went to ASL and my sister does too.

How do you reconnect with long-distance friends or family?

I message my cousin every so often. I also make sure to talk and email my grandmother regularly. 

How do you stay connected to your...

Community? I know all my neighbors, and I stop to talk to them in the street when I see them.

Classmates? I text my friends during the school year and holidays to discuss funny stories and events that happen to us. In addition, we also make plans to hang out together over the weekend.

Joy? I go for walks with my family and spend time with my two cats. I also do music lessons, which is something that I enjoy and makes me happy.

Well-being? I play a variety of sports and our house also has a lot of stairs that I go up and down on a daily basis.
