Guess the Eagle continues!

Guess the Eagle continues!

It's time for another round of Guess the Eagle trivia where, in honor of ASL's 70th anniversary, we share vintage photos of alums and teachers and invite the community to identify them! Are you ready for the challenge?

This longtime coach and former athletic director first joined the ASL community in 1969, and stuck around for the next 45 years! Here he is pictured in the 1971 yearbook. You can still expect to see this beloved Eagle at London alumni events or catching a game at Canons Park.

Many know this alumna from 1995 as a HS teacher or as an ASL LS parent. But you may not know that she was part of the Scandinavian Club her senior year!

You may recognize this picture from a recent "Reimagine the World" alumni talk. The young boy on the left, who graduated in 2006, is now a distinguished academic at Johns Hopkins University, and the teacher on the right has been teaching in the Middle School since 2000!

This former faculty member taught from 1971 to 2009. He is famous for leading ASL quiz bowls, regularly attends ASL drama productions and is a favorite substitute teacher! Above is a photo from 1981.
