Alumni went all out in ATX!
After a protracted COVID-delay, an alumni reunion organized by Ned Campbell ’80, Clare (Englehart) Garza ’80 and Cheryl (Chachere) Lancaster ’80 took place in Austin, Texas, in May. More than 80 people, including alumni representing Classes from 1967 through 1994, as well as special guests, helped “Keep Austin Weird” during a weekend of reminiscing and revelry that included feasting on barbecue, pub crawling, cheering on Liverpool and Chelsea in the FA Cup Final and lots of laughter.
The fun culminated on Saturday evening with an upscale dinner on Lake Travis, where Eagles took in the sunset views and danced the night away. Before bidding farewell to one another at Sunday’s brunch, alumni were already discussing plans for the next reunion—who is game for Colorado in 2024?
Many thanks to Ned, Claire and Cheryl for organizing such a memorable and special event.
