2025 National High School Journalism Convention in Nashville

Student journalists from the middle and high school newspaper and yearbook programs attended the fall 2025 National High School Journalism Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, 13–16 November, which was co-sponsored by the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) and the Journalism Education Association (JEA).

More than 5,200 participants took part from around the US and eight other countries. ASL students and advisers attended journalism workshops and onsite critiques, and students also engaged in media contests. Our journalists have returned to London with a great deal of newfound knowledge, as well as a number of group and individual awards!

The first issue of the new Ampersand seasonal magazine won Third Place Best of Show in the specialty magazine category.

The middle school yearbook, The Spotlight, won Third Place Best of Show for their 2024–25 edition.

The middle school newspaper, The Scroll, was awarded an NSPA Pacemaker for their 2024–25 issues and won First Place Best of Show for their first issue of this school year.
