The ASL five-year strategic plan sets a framework to strengthen the School’s identity, advance academics, and enhance student well-being. A five-year horizon ensures the plan is ambitious yet practical, allowing ASL to remain agile, resilient, a first choice for families, and a place where every student thrives.
Over the past year, ASL’s Board of Trustees has led a strategic planning process to shape our School’s future. Working closely with senior leaders, and informed by focus groups, surveys, and past planning work, we have created a shared vision for the next five years.

Our vision rests on three pillars:
- Institutional Identity – being clear about who we are and ensuring that every part of school life reflects it.
- Educational Enhancement & Innovation – ensuring our program is rigorous, relevant, and prepares students to thrive in a fast-changing world.
- Financial Stewardship – securing the resources to keep ASL strong and sustainable for generations to come.
These pillars build on ASL’s existing strengths — a welcoming school culture, exceptional teachers, and strong family engagement — and set out a path to a strong and resilient ASL for generations to come.
