FAQs about transition to ISI
Here are some FAQs on our transition to ISI and its benefits for our students, employees and school.
The DfE approves inspections from two inspectorates: either Ofsted or the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Both inspectorates use the same standards for independent school assessment. Our Board of Trustees unanimously recommended that we transition to the ISI in the course of the 2023-24 school year. ISI has a specialized focus on and expertise in independent schools, making the rigorous inspection process and report more meaningful and valuable for our school.
