WELCOME to ASL ROBOTICS

Our mission is to provide a positive high school team experience through robotics while inspiring intellectual creativity, fostering a passion for science, technology and engineering, and developing critical thinking, problem solving and team building skills.

About us

We are a team of High School students based in London UK. We are made up of two teams, Griffins 1884 and Phoenix 1797. The first ASL FRC team, Griffins 1884, was initially formed in 2004, and by 2016, the team had grown so large that we had to form a second team, Phoenix 1797

What is FIRST®?

FIRST® stands for: For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. Our team chooses to participate in FIRST®-run competitions due to the variety of technical and practical skills this program encourages. From fabrication to CAD, electronics, and programming, the learning opportunities for students in the program are practically unlimited. Furthermore, FIRST® encourages collaboration, communication, and leadership, which molds us into better scientists, thinkers, and people. While overcoming complex problems with our peers, we flourish in the face of adversity and become friends along the way.
