The day runs 9 am-3:15 pm
Participants should meet at the Waverley Place entrance to ASL between 8:50 and 9 am. There is no supervision prior to 8:50 am.
Spring Program participants should enter the building where they will be met by their supervisors.
Sports, Elementary Sports, Recreation and Bushcraft participants need to check in with the supervisor before alighting the bus to Canons Park.
Basketballers should go straight to the Farmer Family Gymnasium.
Exploration Camp and KinderCamp participants should enter via the gate to the right of the Waverley Place steps.
All on-campus sessions end between 3:05 and 3:15 pm with participants available for collection from the Waverley Place entrance. The bus from Canons Park is scheduled to return by 3:15 pm. Participants should check out with their supervising teacher before departure. Parents, please be on time to collect your child.
Lunches
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch. Catering facilities are available at Canons Park (Sports, Elementary Sports, Bushcraft and Recreation programs). Items on sale include a daily hot option (pasta, pizza, hotdog), freshly made sandwiches, health bars, juice and water.
There will be no catering facilities at the Waverley Place Campus (Basketball, KinderCamp and Exploration week programs). Unless otherwise advised by their teacher, participants should bring a drink, snack and lunch each day.
Money and valuables
One purpose of our Summer Program is to build a sense of community. With this in mind, we are requesting that participants leave electronic equipment at home. This includes iPods and electronic games.
Money to purchase items from the canteen at Canons Park should be brought in small quantities only.
Dress and behavior
Please dress appropriately for the activities. Shorts, track suits, sweaters and trainers are all suitable for sports-related activities. Layers of casual clothing are appropriate for all other sessions. Sunscreen and a hat are requirements for all attendees.
One objective of the camp is for students to have fun while learning new activities. Regular school expectations about language and behavior apply.
