Capital giving
Over and above operational support through the Annual Fund, capital gifts are used to support and enhance all aspects of the School, including academic support, financial aid, community enrichment, and campus facilities and improvements. These gifts help to ensure that each generation of ASL students receives an outstanding education.
Aside from capital gifts for specific building projects, the School encourages gifts to our endowment, which is approximately £11 million. Endowed funds serve as a critical financial underpinning to the School, providing the continuity of programs, and a foundation on which future programs can be developed and implemented. ASL has established five categories of permanent endowment funds:
- General endowment
- Faculty & staff support endowment
- Community enrichment endowment
- Facilities endowment
- Student financial assistance endowment
